The Conservative Synagogue of the Western Main Line
Our Mission : To provide a family-oriented community of religious worship, lifelong education, inclusiveness, spiritual guidance, and Jewish life cycle support.
Congregation Or Shalom has been home to the Jewish community of the Western Main Line since its beginning in 1974. Founding members recall children fast asleep on laps, families playing together and worshiping together.

Our youngest students are dismissed from their class, held outdoors in the Sukkah, as part of a holiday Family Education program called Shakes in the Sukkah where children shook lulav and drank milk shakes! |
As we have grown along with our larger community, we have tried to maintain the heimish atmosphere, the sense that each of us makes a difference simply by being here.
Our Web site can only give you a tiny taste of what we are about. You have to come visit to know for sure.
