Four Things You Can Do To Help Haitian Earthquake Victims

  1. DONATE to The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism Disaster Relief Fund: www.uscj.org/donate/relief.
  2. VOLUNTEER: The State Department is looking for volunteers to help Haitians in the US find relatives in Haiti. Call 1-888-407-4747.
  3. VISIT the Interaction Website (www.interaction.org/crisis-list/earthquake-haiti) to learn what's being done to help the world's poorest and most vulnerable people.
  4. TEXT "HAITI" to "90999," and $10 will be given to the Red Cross, charged to your cell phone bill.

Jewish Family and Children's Services Challah Mitzvah Project
Every Friday, JFCS volunteers deliver fresh challot to Jewish patients in eleven area hospitals. Your family can support this effort by donating $72 to pay for one challah per week for one year (or $36 for half a year). At year's end, our Hebrew School will receive a certificate of appreciation with the total number of challot delivered.
